Jenny Odom to perform Feb. 6 at library

Local favorite artist and musician Jenny Odom will open the Apalachicola Margaret Key Public Library’s Winter Music and Art Series on Thursday, Feb. 6 at 6 p.m.

Odom, who has worked as an independent artist for over 20 years, previously owned and operated Iggyart at Bowery Station, and subsequently JOBA until its closing in 2021, both in Apalachicola.

She began publicly performing music in 2015 and was a member of Hot Mess, playing zydeco/Cajun music.

Odom was a founder of Porch Fest Apalach, which has continued to grow and provide financial assistance to local non-profits. In 2022 the Porch Fest committee selected PALS, the Friends of the Library, as the recipient of the festival profits.

Odom recently moved to North Georgia where she is renovating a studio and creating both art and music. Join PALS and welcome her back while enjoying her music and her art. Her work will be on display and available for purchase.

The Winter Music and Art Series is free, thanks to Porch Fest Apalach and PALS. The Thursday events are held in the listening room at the Library at 80 12th Street. Come early as seating is limited.
