Aaron Taylor of Eastpoint and Tallahassee, Florida departed on March 11, 2025, at the age of 97. He was born on March 3, 1928, in Apalachicola, Florida. After he bought his brother out of the Western Auto Store in 1967 it was renamed Taylor’s Building Supply and moved to where it remains today with 58 years in business and counting.
Aaron was preceded in death by his parents Floy and Jack Taylor, Sr.; his siblings Evelyn LaBuda and Jack Taylor, Jr. as well as his first wife, Loretta. He is survived by his wife Justine; daughter Kim Fish (Ken) and stepson Dion Wilson; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two nieces; one nephew as well as a host of great-nephews, great-nieces and extended family members.

The family received guests for a visitation at First United Methodist Church of Apalachicola on March 15, 2025 at 10:30am followed by a funeral service at 11:00am. Interment was held at Eastpoint Cemetery.
