Auby “Wayne” Rich of Port Saint Joseph, Florida passed away on May 5, 2024 at the age of 88. Wayne was born on January 22, 1936 in Bonifay, Florida where he spent his formative years. He graduated from Jordan High School in Columbus, Georgia. After graduating from high school, Wayne proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. During that time, he married the love of his life, Mary Lee Neighbor, who dedicated her life to his care. He made a career in the Finance Business, retiring from Chrysler Financial. He lived the remainder of his years living on Indian Pass Beach, with his beloved wife.

While able, he was active with the St. Joe Country Club and his favorite past time of Golf. Wayne was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 69 years, Mary Lee.

They are survived by their children Dena L. Rich-Brill, and Bradford Rich, his brothers Bill Rich and Don Rich, and their grandchildren Justin Lopes, Amber Rich and Taylor Rich, and countless family members.

The family would like to thank Sacred Heart Bay ICU, Shores Skilled Nursing Facility and Emerald Coast Hospice for the care and compassion they showed our loved one in their final days.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service for both Mary Lee and Wayne at Life Out Loud Church (formerly Live Oak Church) 2118 Live Oak Rd, Bonifay, FL. 32425; on Saturday, June 8, 2024 at 11 AM.
