He was born March 1, 1956, in Leesburg, FL, a son of the late Sherriff Jack Taylor, Jr. Donnie cherished his family and friends. He was a lover of trucks, Harleys, and his grandchildren. He is survived by two daughters, Jennifer Taylor of Fayetteville, NC and Heather Lloyd of Fayetteville, NC; a sister Marilyn Taylor Walker of Pensacola, Florida and mother Jeanette B.Taylor of Pensacola, Florida, his grandchildren, Dalton Derwin, Haley, Alexis McIntosh, Brandon Loyd, Cris Rivera, Austin Rivers, Shayla Rivera and Shelby Rivera. He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren as well as a niece Jeanette “Jenny” Connell of Pensacola, Fl and nephew Robert “Rob” E. Connell III of Panama City, Fl.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his son James Patrick Taylor; sister Mary Taylor; maternal grandparents Whittier B. and Mamie Brown; and paternal grandparents, Jack Sr, and Floy M. Taylor.
