Jeanette Brown Taylor passed away at the age of 91 on December 17, 2023, in Pensacola, Florida after a brief illness. Jeanette was born in Eastpoint, Florida on August 23, 1932, to the late Whittier Benjamin Brown and Mamie Dean Brown. She lived with two siblings Whittier (Ben) Jr. and Catherine in Eastpoint until graduating from Carrabelle School. She attended Guilford College. Later she worked at the Pentagon. On July 21, 1951, she wed Sherriff Jack Taylor, Jr while he was in the Army. After the assignment in Germany they returned to Eastpoint where they raised three children Marilyn, Donnie, and Mary. Jeanette worked as an executive assistant for the Franklin Sheriff’s Department for more than 20 years and resided on St. George Island. She enjoyed her family, grandchildren, and friends. She enjoyed her Boston Terrier JR., and painting.

Jeanette is preceded in death by parents Whittier Sr. and Mamie Dean Brown, brother Whittier (Ben) Jr., and Sister Catherine, and children Donnie and Mary Taylor.

Jeanette is survived by a daughter Marilyn Taylor Walker of Pensacola, Florida., grandchildren Jeanette “Jenny” Louise Connell of Pensacola, Robert “Rob” Edward Connell III of Panama City, and Jennifer Taylor and Heather Lloyd of Fayetteville North Carolina.

Funeral services will be held gravesite at Eastpoint Cemetery on Wednesday December 27, 2023, at 2:00 pm eastern time. Services provided by Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home & Cemeteries of Panama City, Florida.
