It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear Mom, Lynn Elaine “Judy” Guthrie of Carrabelle, FL. Judy passed away on Saturday, January 6th at 9:28 pm, at Augusta Medical Center (GA), with RL by her side. Judy passed due to late-stage COPD and breathing complications after contracting the Flu.

Judy had resided in Carrabelle since 1984, when she relocated her family there from Anna Maria Island. Judy was a 5th generation Floridan, born and raised in St. Petersburg.

Judy was survived by her children; Jaime Davis Guthrie of Eastpoint, Raymond “RL” Guthrie, III (and his wife, Lisa (Fulford) Guthrie of Alamo, GA, and Shelly Jordana (Guthrie) Nelson of Boca Raton; her grandchildren; Erin Ashley Guthrie of Panama City, Mallorie Brandis (Guthrie) Moore of Carrabelle, Ethan Tobias Nelson of Boca Raton, and Grace Jordana Nelson of Boca Raton, and her siblings; Dr. Herbert Jordan (Skip) Davis ( & his wife Patty (Walker) Davis) of Aurora, NC, and Leslie Virginia (Davis) Watson ( & her husband Dr. Donald “Don” Gordon Watson), of High River, Alberta, Canada. Judy was preceded in death by her parents; Doris Opal “Honey” (Jordan) Davis, and Herbert Taylor “Papa” Davis, Jr and her grandson, Jeremy Dillan Guthrie.
