Patricia J. Sadler, lifelong resident of Apalachicola, Florida passed away at her home on Saturday, July 15, 2023 at the age of 60. She was born in Tampa, Florida on February 27, 1963 to the late John Johnson and Inez Samples. Patricia was a very special person in the community and was loved by everyone. She would give you the shirt off her back and had a smile that would light up this world. Patricia worked in the seafood industry most all of her life and she attended First Pentecostal Holiness Church. She loved coloring, fishing, drinking coffee with family and friends, and was an amazing cook.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Don O’Bry, Robert O’Bry and Johnny O’Bry.

Patricia is survived by her three children, Vanessa Sadler, Briana Sadler, and Jimmy Sadler (Cierra); one adopted daughter, Allaya Fanguy; two brothers, Billy O’Bry (Tammy) and Blue O’Bry (Connie); two sisters, Audrey Louise Chanin and Rhonda Butler (Ray); seven grandchildren, Jescelyn, Jaylen, Zayla, Zianna, Mariyah, John, and Malayna.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Senika Wangnoon aka “NeeNee” with Covenant Care Hospice for the kindness and care she has given to Mrs. Sadler during her illness.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Eastern Time on Thursday, July 20, 2023 at First Pentecostal Holiness Church in Apalachicola, Florida.

Arrangements are entrusted to the caring staff of Comforter Funeral Home in Port St. Joe, Florida.
