Rosalie Baltas passed away on May 6 in Denver, Colorado.

She was born in Pensacola, Florida on February 26, 1937. In 1948 she moved to Ormond Beach, Florida with her family. She grew up there and married Dimitri Baltas in 1953.

The majority of their married life was spent in the Chicago area. During this time Rosalie began a career in the grocery business and over a fifteen year career progressed from a part-time employee to store manager.

Upon retirement they settled in Carrabelle, Florida. Her husband passed away in 2015 and she remained there until health issues required that she relocate to Denver to stay with her daughter.

She has two daughters, Liz Rosenblatt, Tucson, Arizona and Rebecca Morgan of Denver, Colorado and a granddaughter Dora Rosenblatt of Pocasset, Massachusetts. She is also survived by two brothers and one sister and six nephews and nieces.

Rosalie was a homemaker, a mother and quite a fisherman. She was loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed.

A graveside service will be held at Hillside Cemetery, Ormond Beach on May 17.
