Boy Scout to present American Flag Retirement Boxes to PCFD

A local Boy Scout will present three American Flag Retirement Boxes to the Panama City Fire Department on Thursday, October 28, 2021 at 5 p.m.

Garrett Jensen with Boy Scouts of America, Troop 321 has been working with Fire Chief David Collier to build the boxes as part of his Eagle Scout Rank requirements.

The presentation will take place at Central Station, located at 600 E. Business Highway 98.

The boxes will be located at Central Station, Station #2 on Beck Avenue, and Station #4 on W. 19th Street. The community will be invited to retire American flags by dropping them off in one of the boxes.
