Alligator Point Watercolor Group hosts Appreciation Art Sale Sunday
The Alligator Point Watercolor Group will host an Appreciation Art Sale and Silent Auction this Sunday, Oct. 23 from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Ann Rudloe Center, next to the Gulf Specimen Marine Lab, 233 Clark Drive in Panacea.
All proceeds go to the Gulf Specimen Lab, in gratitude for letting the group paint twice a month in their community center.
Music by Frank Lindamood and Andy Moorer, tarot readings by Sid and refreshments, Also available in the area is the Gulf Specimen Lab, open to the public 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Rock Landing which is open for lunch; and the Woolley Park playground.
Meet the Editor
David Adlerstein, The Apalachicola Times’ digital editor, started with the news outlet in January 2002 as a reporter.
Prior to then, David Adlerstein began as a newspaperman with a small Boston weekly, after graduating magna cum laude from Brandeis University in Waltham, Massachusetts. He later edited the weekly Bellville Times, and as business reporter for the daily Marion Star, both not far from his hometown of Columbus, Ohio.
In 1995, he moved to South Florida, and worked as a business reporter and editor of Medical Business newspaper. In Jan. 2002, he began with the Apalachicola Times, first as reporter and later as editor, and in Oct. 2020, also began editing the Port St. Joe Star.
